Background

“Death by a thousand cuts” is just a great expression, isn’t it? Anyone who has been through a tough project has heard it before. I like to think of this blog as the opposite. Navigating through all those issues to achieve excellence is a passion of mine, along with being a dad to three amazing boys and all things Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots. Thanks to Len Devanna for pushing me to start capturing my thoughts here.

I started this blog in February, 2008, with the purpose of having a place to capture thoughts, opinions, and insights on topics I am passionate about.  I am looking to generate discussion on a broad range of ideas, including but not limited to interactive marketing, social media, team building and other topics that are relevant to how businesses are leveraging technology to drive and sustain value.

Employment History

In December, 2015 I rejoined Accenture as a Managing Director in the Retail Digital Customer practice after nearly a decade at several digital agencies.  I work with retail and QSR clients to transform areas of their business through digital technology + the right strategy.

Most recently I was a managing director at WCG, a W2O Group company, where I opened the Boston office. Prior to that I was a partner at FleishmanHillard, leading the social media strategy consulting practice, and previously I was a partner at digital agency, Rosetta.  At Rosetta I founded Rosetta’s Social Media practice and was a partner in the consumer product and retail practice. I also spent a year leading Rosetta’s Search and Media practice (PPC, SEO, Display Advertising and Social Media).

I have led broad engagements and account teams providing an array of services for clients such as Verizon, AT&T, Ariba, Borders, Coach, philosophy, Citizen’s Bank, Maidenform, and Church and Dwight.

Prior to joining Rosetta I started my career with about a dozen years with Accenture, serving High Tech industry clients including Digital Equipment Corp, Boston Scientific, Kodak, and EMC across a variety of long term transformational programs.
