I'm interested to know what Coke's plan for making this application/widget viral is. It's soooo difficult to gain traction at this stage of the game unless it has high social/entertainment value and is very unique.

It's also harder to gain acceptance when something is branded, and the functionality is totally disconnected from the product or brand.

Coke has (I'm assuming here) budget and brand recognition on its side - we'll have to check back in 3 months and see what the results were!

Michael - Thanks very much for the comment, kudos to your team and their approach to engage in a conversation to improve the program. Great to hear there is support on exploring the new model - I hope other companies look at this as an example in how to engage in social media. Best of luck with the program and thanks again for the response.
Best,
Adam

Thanks for taking the time to review CokeTag...We sincerely appreciate your feedback. Per your questions, we will be adding new features and promotions soon to create a more compelling reason for continued use and yes, thankfully, we do have buy-in to support this and the learnings we hope to gain from creating this new model with social networks. Thx Again!
