Obvious or not, it’s still a great post. I’ve had, literally, nothing but positive experiences connecting and reconnecting with people on many of the platforms you mention. I can think of only two times I wish I weren’t so “connected.”

And I think it’s important to placate some of the skeptics out there (those who think it’s “weird” or that there’s “no value” in these tools for networking or keeping in touch personally).
